ARTIST

Aaron “Woes” Martin is an American contemporary artist originally from the Hawaiian island of Oahu. He’s known for his vibrant, character-driven artwork — especially detailed paintings of emotionally expressive pandas — using acrylics on wood and canvas. Growing up between Hawaii, Southern California, and Nevada, he was influenced early on by hip hop, cartoons, graffiti, and toy culture, which shaped his artistic voice. His collaborations span major brands and organizations like Disney, Kidrobot, Converse, and Samsung, and his work has featured in exhibitions such as URBAN NATION’s UN-DERSTAND. Martin’s art often explores themes of struggle, resilience, and emotion through his unique visual style.
